Dear AT&T –
We switched for the iPhone. Unlocking and jailbreaking was getting to tedious over at T-Mobile. We thought all the complaints and whining about AT&T service were just unfortunate side effects of having a phone so popular.
Really. We were wrong.
T-Mobile, we miss you already. Your customer service was always unbelievable, and your service was pretty solid. Sure, your 3G coverage was a little weak, and your phone selection was pretty well abysmal…but at least we liked you.
Our relationship is three days old, AT&T, and already the service you offer at my house has me questioning the viability of our contract. Bollocks.

How to put your teenage kid to work – for you.
If you have a teenage son or daughter who’s old enough to drive, chances are good that you’ve wrestled with the question of “getting a job.” As parents, we’re tasked with ensuring that our children understand the value of money, and the difficulty of earning it. Because driving comes with great expense (gas, insurance, maintenance), you basically have two choices:
- Let your kid get a job, and earn his/her car money.
- Pay for your kid’s car privileges.
Unless, of course, you come up with a creative blend of the two – like we’ve done in my house. Read on to learn how my daughter is earning her car insurance money by being my personal assistant.
